Artist's Description

Went and photographed the eclipse the other evening and didn't see much of it as mother nature had other plans for us. Standing here watching the eclipse sunset over the front range of the Colorado Rockies Sunday night was an amazing experience. The drama created from the verga (rain which evaporates before hitting the ground) only added to the atmosphere and made for an incredible display of light with casting sunbeams of golden color covering the valley. I photographed this using my Sony a550's HDR in camera HDR ability backed up by a CPL, ND8 and Grad ND which made for a long exposure of about 1 second and in doing so really intensified the light and color of the scene. I am just grateful to have been able to witness and photograph an amazing event and evening.

I hope you enjoy my...
